Through talks given by experienced industry professionals, students have the opportunity to learn about what it is like to work in this field and the challenges faced by professionals.

DAMA, the copyright management organisation for audiovisual creators, presents DAMA Forma, an innovative project that seeks to inspire young students to train in the audiovisual field.

Through talks given by experienced authors from the industry, students from different secondary schools have the opportunity to learn first-hand what it is like to work in this field and the challenges faced by professionals.

The DAMA Forma project features various professionals: directors and screenwriters, who share their stories, the challenges they have faced in their careers and the advice they would like to give to young people. During the workshops, students will be able to meet and learn about the different areas in which they could train and work.

For instance, the screenwriter and showrunner, Diego San José gave one of the DAMA Forma sessions on Friday 3rd February at the Sefarad Institute in Toledo. Previously, filmmakers such as Enrique Gato, Belén Sánchez-Arévalo and Javier Marco have also spoken to students from Talavera de la Reina and Toledo, respectively.

All in all, DAMA Forma focuses on bringing the profession of audiovisual authors closer to high schools by offering them useful information and experiences for their training.
