“MADRE” CO-PRODUCED BY DAMA´S MEMBER MARIA DEL PUY ALVARADO (MALVALANDA) NOMINATED FOR HORIZON PRIZE IN 2019 VENICE FILM FESTIVAL

“Madre” co-produced by DAMA member María del Puy Alvarado (Malvalanda) participates in the Orizzonti competition of La Biennale di Venezia, which this year celebrates its 76th edition.

The film directed by Rodrigo Sorogoyen, is based on the homonymous short film that was awarded the Goya and the Forqué for Best Short Film, among many other international awards including the Hollywood Oscar.

Filmed in Spanish and French, the cast of “Madre” is made up of Marta Nieto, Jules Porier, Alex Brendemuhl, Anne Consigny and Frederic Pierrot.

After its international premiere in Venice, “Madre” will inaugurate the 16th edition of the Seville Film Festival and will arrive in Spanish cinemas on November-
