“Victim Number 8”, produced by Telemadrid and ETB in collaboration with Mediapro is among the series nominated for this year’s Prix Europe Awards in the Iris Television section.

Costarring Iñaki Ardanzaz, Oscar Zafra, Maria de Nati and Lisi Linder, “Victim number 8“, a Netflix Original series, premieres in the US on Friday, August 16, exclusively on Netflix.

DAMA members Sara Antuña, David Bermejo and Esther Morales are part to the script team of “Victim Number 8”.

This drama thriller opens with a terrorist attack that shakes downtown Bilbao and leaves destruction in its wake, including the death of seven people and injures to more than thirty others. The police launch an investigation to hunt down the attackers, and everything points to Tangier- born Omar Jamal Salama (Cesar Mateo) as the person responsible.

The European Parliament and the European Commission grant these awards among a selection of the best European productions of television, radio and interactive media. In this edition, the winning fictions will be announced on October 11 in Postdam.
