‘Alcarràs’, ‘As bestas’ and ‘Cinco lobitos’, shortlisted for the Oscars

Alcarràs, by Carla Simón, co-written by our member Arnau Vilaró; As bestas, directed and co-written by Rodrigo Sorogoyen, together with Isabel Peña, both members of DAMA; and Cinco lobitos, by our member Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, are the three shortlisted by the Film Academy to represent Spain at the 95th Oscar Awards, to be held on the 12th of March of 2023.

The final decision of the academics, who will choose between these three stories, will be revealed on the 13th of September.
