DAMA summon the eighth consecutive edition of DAMA Ayuda
DAMA has summonned DAMA Ayuda 2020, the eighth consecutive edition of the Project which promotes the creation of film scripts.
Eight feature film synopses will have the opportunity to participate in a tutoring process carried out by four renowned professional screenwriters.
Anyone who wants to participate must submit a synopsis of the script to be developed for a feature film, in Spanish, whose idea must be original. This document will be supplemented with your updated CV. The deadline to send all the information to guiones@damautor.es is November 18th, inclusive.
The jury will be comprised of one representative of DAMA, Roberto Jiménez, and four professional authors, all four members of the entity. Michel Gaztambide (‘No habrá paz para los malvados’, ‘Gigantes’), David Muñoz (‘La Embajada’, ‘La valla’), Alberto Marini (la saga ‘[REC]’, ‘El desconocido’) y Susana López Rubio (‘Cómo sobrevivir a una despedida’, ‘Física o química’) will mentor the authors of 2020.
It´s not necessary to be a member of the entity or reside in Spain to participate. Any author of legal age may apply and participate by telematic mean or attending to the new headquarters of the entity located at Gran Vía de San Francisco 8 (28005, Madrid). A maximum of two authors may sing each idea presented.

Thanks to previous editions, film scripts such as ‘Antes de la quema’ have been brought to life. In this case It´s a project written by Javier Jáuregui and directed by Fernando Colomo.
‘Josefina’, of Belén Sánchez-Arévalo, and ’20.000 especies de abejas’, of Estíbaliz Urresola, were also born in DAMA and were able to continue their journey in “La incubadora-The Screen”, the program promoted by ECAM.
